NARCOTICS ARRESTS

OFFICERS INVOLVED: Detectives Gregory Tongring and Timothy Torchia
ACCUSED: Sean S. Brooks, Age 27 of Neptune.

NARRATIVE
     On 12/14/2007 at approximately 8:00 pm, Detectives Gregory Tongring and Timothy Torchia observed the driver of a 2001 Mitsubishi engage in a drug transaction at an apartment building located on Allen Ave. The detectives subsequently stopped the vehicle near Hwy 35 and identified the driver as Sean S. Brooks. Further investigation revealed that Brooks was in possession of several small plastic baggies of crack cocaine.
     Brookes was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to OTPD for further processing. Brooks was in possession of the crack cocaine within a thousand feet of a private grade school located nearby on Logan Road. Brook’s Mitsubishi was also seized under state criminal forfeiture guidelines.
     Brooks was charged with Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Distribute within a thousand feet of a school zone, Possession of crack Cocaine and Loitering for the purposes to sell Crack Cocaine. He was later released on a criminal summons.
