"OVER THE LIMIT, UNDER ARREST"

     The Ocean Township Police Department will be participating in the national “Over the Limit, Under Arrest” Year End Impaired Driving Crackdown Initiative between December 20, 2007 and January 1, 2008. Additional patrols will be assigned throughout the township to detect and apprehend impaired drivers in an effort to keep motorists safe. The goal of the program is to heighten public awareness as to the dangers associated with drinking and driving and to prevent tragedies related to this behavior year round.
