DRUG CASH SEIZED

OFFICERS INVOLVED: Sgt. Charles Weinkofsky, Dimitrios Kelesidis, William Crosta and Detective Gregory Tongring.
ACCUSED: Fabian O. Lawrence, Age 27 of Neptune

NARRATIVE
     As a result of a drug investigation at the Twinbrook Apartment Complex, officers of the Special Assignment Unit seized $9,460.00 in cash.
     On 11/29/2007, officers of the Special Assignment Unit stopped Fabian O. Lawrence, age 27 of Neptune, as he was driving out of the Twinbrook Apartment Complex. Further investigation revealed that Lawrence was in possession of drug paraphernalia along with $9,460.00 believed to be proceeds of drug sales. The money was seized under state criminal forfeiture guidelines. A K-9 drug dog from Tinton Falls Police also assisted in the investigation.
     Lawrence was taken to OTPD and released that night. He was later issued a criminal summons for Loitering to Obtain a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possessing Drug Paraphernalia.
