JUVENILES BURGLARIZE SCHOOL

ACCUSED: Two 14-year-old males from Ocean Twp.

NARRATIVE
On 12/9/2007 at approximately 1:13 pm, police were dispatched to the Ocean Township Elementary School located on Dow Ave in reference to an activation of the security system alarm. Officer Leslie Laffan arrived on scene and found a 14-year-old male juvenile climbing through an open rear window into the school. As officer Jeffery Malone arrived at the school he observed another 14-year-old male juvenile running from the rear of the school. Further investigation revealed that the two found the window to the school to be open and decide to enter and skateboard throughout the hallways. Both accused were subsequently taken into custody and transported to OTPD further processing. They were both charged with Criminal Trespassing and later released to their parents.
