Further investigation revealed that a dispute started inside Applebee’s among a group a patrons. An employee of Applebee’s attempted to end the dispute by having everyone that was involved leave the restaurant. An unknown black male exited the Ford vehicle and approached one of the male employees who was now outside that was trying to end the dispute that began inside. The unknown black male then pointed a hand gun at the employee. The employee immediately retreated back into the restaurant and called 911. The unknown black male then walked toward a twenty-one year old female from Asbury Park who was with a group in the parking lot. He subsequently struck her in the face with the same hand that he was holding the gun with. The female who was obviously injured fell to the ground. The unknown black then got back into the Ford vehicle and fled the scene. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a large black hooded sweatshirt and a red scull cap.
