BURGLARY ARREST

ACCUSED: Tyler Jason Marshall, Age 19 of Avon

NARRATIVE
     On 12/5/07 at approximately 12:04 pm, Police were called to an apartment building located in the Twin Brook Apartment Complex in reference to a burglary in progress. The witnessing caller had advised that a subject had pried open a locked vestibule door and entered. Officers arrived on scene and found a subject later identified as Tyler Jason Marshal matching the description provided by the caller. Further investigation revealed that Tyler used a small tool to pry open the locked door. He then entered the vestibule and went to an upstairs apartment. The occupant of that apartment was home and heard Marshal outside the door. When the occupant confronted Marshal he told the occupant that he was at the wrong apartment and then left vestibule area. Marshal was subsequently arrested and transported to OTPD for further processing. During the arrest he was also found to be in possession of a pipe commonly used to smoke marijuana.
     Marshal was charged with Burglary, Burglary Tools, Attempted Burglary, Criminal Mischief and Drug Paraphernalia. He was later released on criminal summons.
