BURGLARY ARREST

DATE/TIME: 11/10/2007
LOCATION: Twin Brook Apartment Complex
OFFICERS INVOLVED: Sgt. Charles Weinkofsky, William Crosta and Dimitrios Kelesidis.
ACCUSED: Aslin Colin, Age 20 of Ocean twp.

NARRATIVE:
     On 11/10/07 at approximately 5:17 pm, members of the Special Assignment Unit were on patrol in the Twin Brook Apartment complex. Sgt. Charles Weinkofsky observed a male subject climbing up onto a second floor balcony of one of the apartment buildings. The male, later identified as Aslin Colin, was dressed in all dark clothing. He then entered the apartment through a sliding glass door. Officers subsequently confronted Colin in a vestibule as he was coming down the stairs from the apartment he just entered. He was subsequently arrested at the scene and transported to OTPD for further processing. He did not take anything from inside the apartment.
     Colin was charged with Burglary and later transported to Monmouth County Jail on $10,000.00 bail.
