UNDERAGE DRINKING PARTY

LOCATION: Mallard Lane residence

OFFICERS INVOLVED: Daniel Weber and Sonia Henriques

ACCUSED: Michael L. Perry, Age 19 of Neptune.

NARRATIVE:
     On 7/18/07 at approximately 1:57 AM, Police were called to a Mallard Lane residence in reference to an underage drinking party. Officers Daniel Weber and Sonia Henriques responded to investigate. They determined that a party had taken place and was in the process of concluding. Officers found numerous empty beer cans and bottles throughout the home along with bottles of Vodka and Rum. As a result, a 19-year-old identified as Michael L. Perry of Neptune was arrested at the scene and taken to OTPD. He was processed and charged with Providing Alcoholic Beverages to Persons under the Legal Age. He was later released on a Summons. He was also issued a Township Ordinance violation summonses for Consuming Alcoholic Beverages On Private Property While under the Legal Age. The residence is owned by Perry’s aunt who happened to be vacationing out of state at the time. Additionally, police issued Township Ordinance violation summonses for Consuming Alcoholic Beverages On Private Property While under the Legal Age to ten partygoers. All were released at the scene.
