ATTEMPTED LURING

LOCATION: Eagle Avenue.

NARRATIVE:
     The Township of Ocean Police is investigating an incident, which occurred on 7/6/2006 at approximately 14:00 hours. A 16-year-old female juvenile was walking on Eagle Avenue in this jurisdiction, when a vehicle approached her. The vehicle is described as a dark red 1990’s era 4-door vehicle with silver trim around the windows. The vehicle was being operated by a white male approximately 45 years of age wearing a bright yellow golf shirt. The male was of thin build with light brown or blond/gray wavy hair and possibly a mustache. The vehicle pulled up and the driver of the vehicle offered the female a ride and was persistent despite being told no several times by the victim. The male suspect became angry and sped off towards Hwy 35.
