UNDERAGE DRINKING PARTY

17-year-old male from Ocean Township

NARRATIVE:
     On 6/30/07 at approximately 1:23 AM, Police were called to a Berkley Ave residence in reference to an underage drinking party. Officer Dimitrios Kelesidis and Officer Michael Melody responded to investigate. Kelesidis and Melody determined that a party had taken place and was in the process of concluding. Officers found numerous empty beer cans throughout the home. A 17-year-old male was also taken into custody for consuming alcoholic beverages while under the legal age. The host of the party, an 18-year-old male identified as Thaddeus Konopka, was arrested at the scene for providing alcohol to persons under the legal age. He was also found to be in possession of marijuana. He was taken to OTPD for further processing.
     The 17-year-old male was also taken to OTPD and later released to his parents. Kanopka was charged with Providing Alcoholic Beverages to Persons Underage the Legal Age and Possession of Less Than Fifty Grams of Marijuana. He was also issued a Township Ordinance violation for Consuming Alcoholic Beverages on Private Property While under the Legal Age. He was later released on a criminal summons.
