AGGRESSIVE DRIVING SUMMER INITIATIVE

     On Monday June 11 2007, the Township of Ocean Police Department commenced a pro-active traffic enforcement initiative targeting aggressive driving. Police officers will strictly enforce all motor vehicle statutes at specific locations based on several factors including the rate of crashes, observations of police officers and complaints from residents. This initiative will continue throughout the summer months and will involve officers assigned to the Patrol and Traffic Bureau and the Special Assignment Unit.
