ASSAULT INVESTIGATION

LOCATION: Middlebrook Plaza Business, Hwy 35 and Deal Road
OFFICERS INVOLVED: Officer Dimitrios Kelesidis and Detective Timothy Torchia.
ACCUSED: Unknown Black Male
NARRATIVE
On 5/24/07 at 01:30 AM, Police were called to the
Middlebrook Shopping Plaza for a report of people yelling and screaming in
the parking lot. Officer Dimitrios Kelesidis arrived and was waived down by
a female party. The female reported that she was just assaulted. The female,
who works as a cleaner for one of the plaza businesses, told Kelesidis that
as she was emptying trash into a dumpster behind the business an unknown
black male came from behind the building and grabbed her. She began to fight
with the accused and managed to break free. She then ran inside the business
and locked the door. Once inside the business she attempted to call a friend
about the incident. She did suffer some minor abrasions but was not
transported to a hospital.
The accused is a described as a black male 20 to 30
years of age approximately six feet tall with a thin build. He was last seen
wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and blue jeans. He may be
operating a four door white vehicle possibly an older model Lexus. Anyone
that may have witnessed the incident or that has any information about it
