FOUR ARRESTED FOR
BURGLARY

ACCUSED: Jorge A Nieto, Age 19 of Eatontown, Male, Age 17 of Eatontown,
Male, Age 16 of Eatontown, Male, Age 15 of Eatontown.
NARRATIVE:
On 5/14/2007 at 4:39 PM, Police received a call from a
citizen who reported just witnessing a burglary to a parked SUV in the rear
of the Orchard Street Plaza parking lot. The window of the SUV, A 1996 Ford
Explorer, was smashed out and the stereo was partially pulled out of the
dashboard. Four male individuals were scene fleeing the scene in red Nissan
Ultima. The Nissan was seen traveling on Hwy 35 north into Eatontown.
Officer Raheem Carter and Officer Mark Del Tin responded. A license plate
was obtained and information about the Nissan was relayed to Eatontown PD. A
short time later, the Eatontown Police along with the Ft. Monmouth Police
stopped the Nissan on Hwy 35 near Tinton Ave. Further investigation led to
the arrest of an adult and three juveniles. The four had conspired to break
out a window of the 1996 Ford Explorer and remove the stereo. The adult,
identified, as Jorge A. Nieto Jr., age 19 was the driver of the Nissan. The
three male juveniles ages 17, 16 and 15 were passengers in the Nissan.
All four were charged with Burglary to a Motor Vehicle
and Criminal Mischief. Nieto was released on a criminal summons and the
juveniles were later released to their parents.
