MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH

LOCATION: State Hwy. 35 northbound between Sunset Avenue and Allaire Avenue.

NARRATIVE
     On 3/8/08, a vehicle operated by an 18 year old Manasquan man was driving northbound on State Hwy. 35 between Sunset Ave. and Allaire when he struck the rear of two vehicle that were turning into the parking lot of a State Hwy. 35 business. Due to the collision, he became trapped inside his vehicle and needed to be extricated. The victim was transported Jersey Shore Medical Center for treatment of a knee and head injury. The two other drivers were unhurt. The 18 year old driver was issued a summons for careless driving.
