ROBBERY ARRESTS

LOCATION: Twinbrook Apartment Complex
OFFICERS INVOLVED: Detective Gregory Tongring , Detective Timothy Torchia, Sgt Thomas Burke, Detective Paul Flammia, Detective Patrick Martin, Sgt. Kevin Faller and Prosecutor’s Office Detective Michael Magliozzo and Sgt. Brian Veprek.
ACCUSED: Daniel Z. Green, Age 18 of Ocean Township.

NARRATIVE
     A lengthy investigation conducted by Township Detectives and Detectives from the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s office have resulted in the solving of an armed robbery of a pizza delivery man on 1/30/08 that occurred in the Twinbrook Apartment complex and the armed robbery of another man in the same complex on 2/2/08.
     On 2/6/08, Detectives developed information about a possible suspect in the 1/30/08 robbery. Further investigation resulted in the recovery of a pellet gun, a ski mask and other assorted articles of clothing believed to be used in both robberies. As a result of the investigation, charges were filed against Daniel Z. Green on 2/26/08. Green was already incarcerated at the Monmouth County Jail for an Ocean Township robbery charge stemming from the 2/2/08 robbery. As result of this investigation additional charges for that robbery were filed as well as charges stemming from the 1/30/08 robbery of Pizza delivery man in the same apartment complex. Green was served with the complaint warrants by Detective Gregory Tongring.
     Green was charged with Armed Robbery, Attempted Armed Robbery, Two counts of Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purposes and Two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. Green’s bail was set at $500,000.00.
