NARCOTICS ARRESTS

ACCUSED: Ryan Smith, Age 22 of Ocean Twp.
Brian Keehn, Age 19 of Ocean Twp.
Michelle T. Tufaro-Rodriquez, Age 18 of Farmingdale.
Lindsey M. Carmichael, Age 20 of Manalapan.

NARRATIVE
     As a result of an ongoing investigation, officers from the Special Assignment Unit and the Detective Bureau executed a search warrant on an Oakhurst Road residence located in the Oakhurst section of the township. Police had been to this same house back on 1/9/2008 in reference to an underage drinking party where some of the guests were preparing the marijuana in the kitchen to be used as an ingredient in a brownie mix that night.
     On 1/31/08 at approximately 7:30 pm, officers executed the warrant on the home and arrested four people including the two residents. Police arrested Brian Keehn and Ryan Smith both residents along with , Michelle Tufaro-Rodriquez and Lindsey Carmichael inside the home. Police seized marijuana, hydrocodone pills, oxycodone pills, a scale and other related drug paraphernalia. Police also seized $500.00 in cash believed to be criminal proceeds from marijuana sales. The four were taken to OTPD and processed. A K9 unit from Wall Township was also called in to assist in the search of the home.
     Smith was charged with Possession of Less Than 50 grams of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Maintaining a Nuisance by Allowing Persons to Gather for Unlawful Conduct, Possession of Hydrocodone and Possession of Oxycodone. Smith was charged on a criminal warrant and being held on $30,000.00 bail. Keehn was charged with Possession of Less Than 50 grams of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute and Maintaining a Nuisance by Allowing Persons to Gather for Unlawful Conduct. Keehn was charged on a criminal warrant and being held on $10,000.00 bail.
     Tufaro-Rodriquez was charged with Possession of Less than fifty Grams of Marijuana and Possessing drug Paraphernalia. Carmichael was charged with Possession of Less than fifty Grams of Marijuana and Possessing drug Paraphernalia. They were both released on a criminal summons.
