UNDERAGE DRINKING PARTY

Randall R. Hadzor, Age 21 of Lafayette, NY
Steven M. Wendruff, Age 20 of Toms River
NARRATIVE
On 1/26/08 at approximately 11:56 pm, police received a
call in reference to loud noise and a possible fight in the street on Jerome
Ave in the Oakhurst section of the township. Sgt. Charles Weinkofsky and
Officer Mark Powoski arrived in the area and did not find a fight. However,
they did find a party in progress at one of the residences on the street.
They were then joined by Sgt. Brendan Bruther and Officer Luke Sciallo.
Further investigation revealed that an underage drinking party was taking
place at the residence. Officers found numerous partially consumed and empty
beer cans throughout the house. The house was being rented by three Monmouth
University students who were hosting the party. They were identified as
Dustin Coleman, Randall Hadzor and Steven Wendruff. All three were taken
into custody for providing alcoholic beverages to persons under the legal
age. They were subsequently taken to OTPD for further processing. In
addition, police also issued township ordinance violations for consuming
alcoholic beverages on private property by persons under the legal age to
twelve (12) partygoers. They were all released at the scene and are as
follows:

Coleman, Hazdor, and Wendruff were each charged with
Providing Alcoholic Beverages To Persons Under the Legal Age to Purhcase and
each issued a township noise ordinance violation. They were later released
on a criminal summons.
