BURGLARY TOOLS ARREST

ACCUSED: James John Freeman, Age 34 of Ocean Twp.

NARRATIVE:
     On 1/21/2008 at approximately 03:21 am, Officer Thomas Thompson was on patrol in the area of Sunset Ave near a row of commercial businesses. Thompson observed a subject near a Laundromat acting suspiciously. When the subject observed Thompson he entered the front door of the Laundromat and quickly exited via a rear door. The Laundromat is open 24 hours. Thompson confronted the subject, identified as James John Freeman, and learned he had an active warrant for his arrest out of Tinton Falls and Lakehurst. Freeman was subsequently placed under arrest at the scene. He was also found to be in possession of a lock pick kit which contained fifteen assorted lock picks along with two vending machine lock picks. Freeman was then transported to OTPD for further processing.
     Freeman was charged with Possession of Burglary Tools and later taken to Monmouth County Jail on $2500.00 Bail.
