DRINKING / DRUG ARRESTS

Nicholas Delnegro, Age 20 of Ocean Twp.
Marissa L. Bennett, Age 20 of Rumson.

NARRATIVE
     On 1/9/2008 at 11:10 pm, police were called to a residence on Oakhurst Road in reference to a loud party. Officers Morgan, Weber and Thompson arrived on scene and heard loud music coming from the residence. Officers then identified the resident as Bryan J. Keehan. Further investigation revealed that Keehan was hosting a party where underage drinking and marijuana use were taking place. Officers observed open bottles of wine, beer and rum throughout the house. Officers also located a quantity of less than 50 grams of marijuana, a scale and numerous small zip lock baggies associated with marijuana possession. Officers learned that some of the guests were preparing the marijuana in the kitchen to be used as an ingredient in a brownie mix.
     Officers subsequently took Keehan and his guests, as identified above, into custody and transported them to OTPD for further processing. Keehan was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Providing Alcohol to Persons Under the legal Age to Purchase. He was also issued a Township Ordinance violation for Excessive Noise and Consuming Alcoholic Beverages on Private Property While under the Legal Age. He was later released on a criminal summons. His guests were charged as follows:
     Joshua Cooper was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and issued a Township Ordinance violation for Consuming Alcoholic Beverages on Private Property While under the Legal Age. Genya Khoroshilov was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and issued a Township Ordinance violation for Consuming Alcoholic Beverages on Private Property While under the Legal Age. Ryan Smith was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and issued a Township Ordinance violation for Consuming Alcoholic Beverages on Private Property While under the Legal Age. Nicholas Delnegro was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and issued a Township Ordinance violation for Consuming Alcoholic Beverages on Private Property While under the Legal Age. Marissa L. Bennett was issued Township Ordinance violation for Consuming Alcoholic Beverages on Private Property While under the Legal Age. All were later released.
