State law now prohibits the disposal of computers ,televisions and other electronic equipment with trash. A container for the recycling of electronic equipment, e-waste, is now available at the Sunset Ave Recycling Drop-off Center. The container is located adjacent to the metal drop off area.

Items accepted; Computer cases, CPU's, keyboards, mouse, monitors, scanners, printers, cables, laptops, peripherals, televisions, radios, cameras,telephones, cell phones, copiers, fax machines, VCR's, DVD Players, stereo components and microwave ovens.  

The Sunset Ave Recycling Drop-off Center is open Monday through Friday, 7;30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. except holidays. From April 15 through  September 30 the Drop-off Center is also open on Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 p.m - 5:00 p.m. and  Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

This is a free program open to all Monmouth County Residents, small businesses and institutions. Drop-offs are limited to one pickup truckload.
