Calling all armchair adventurers:  The Ocean Township Historical Museum will present a talk entitled "In the Footsteps of Heroes - a Journey to WWII Battle Sites" on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at 7:15 p.m. in the Old Oakhurst Schoolhouse (Board of Education offices) at 163 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst.

You won't want to miss this informational program when local resident Henry Vaccaro shares his travel adventures which have taken him from the jungles of Guadalcanal to the top of Mt. Suribachi on Iwo Jima.  Come hear inspiring tales about his many journeys.

Admission is free and donations are gratefully accepted.  Refreshments will be served.  Non-perishable food for the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties will be welcomed.
