Compost Workshop
Currently no Compost Workshops are scheduled in Ocean Township.
The Monmouth County Recycling Office schedules several local workshops each year. Watch for announcements of dates and locations.
The following are pictures from a Compost Workshop held at the Township's West Park Recreation Center. The Monmouth County Recycling Coordinator, Fran Metzger, gave a slide show presentation on home composting of vegetative waste. Compost bins were distributed to the participants.There is no charge for these workshops. Call 732-531-5000, ext. 3364 for more information about future composting workshops or to purchase a compost bin for $35.
