Bulk Trash Collection
Bulk trash is collected once a month on designated Mondays using the zone schedule.
- Zone 1 - Bulk Trash collected on the first Monday of each month
- Zone 2 - Bulk Trash collected on the second Monday of each month
- Zone 3 - Bulk Trash collected on the third Monday of each month
- Zone 4 - Bulk Trash collected on the fourth Monday of each month
All recyclables, bulk trash, metal and garbage must be placed at the curb after 6:00 p.m. the day before collection but before 6:00 a.m. the day of collection .
Empty garbage and recycling collection containers must be removed from the curb by 8:00 a.m. the day after collection. Please remember that cardboard boxes may not be used as containers for any type of garbage, rubbish, trash or debris, including yard and/or vegetative waste.
Bulk trash will NOT be collected on the fifth Monday of the month. These Mondays, which occur four times a year are used for the collection of metal and appliances. The dates for 2011 metal and appliances collections are January 31, May 30, August 29 and October 31. Residents must call Public Works at 732-531-5000, ext. 3362 or 3363 to be placed on the collection list for these days.
