Household Hazardous Waste
Monmouth County has a permanent Household Hazardous Waste Facility for Monmouth County residents free of charge. The facility is lcoated at 3211 Shafto Road, Tinton Falls and can be reached through the link above to their website or by calling 732-683-8686. Empty or dried paint cans can be placed out with regular garbage or bulk trash. Lids must be removed from the cans. Placing crumbled newspaper in the paint cans with small amounts of paint will speed up the drying process.
