Due to the cancellation of Fall Fest, please bring your posters and poems to Clean Sweep.
Clean Sweep is a great opportunity for clubs, school service projects and groups of friends to make a visible environmental statement.
Two Township-wide Clean Sweep events are held every year; one in the spring and one in the fall. Volunteers meet at the Ocean Township Recreation Center for registration, site assignments, safety equipment and bags in which to put litter and recyclables. Following the clean-up, refreshments are served and each volunteer receives a tee shirt made from recycled plastic bottles and cotton fibers.
