Spring Registration Begins February 24
Registration for spring programs begins Wednesday, February 24 for Ocean residents. Non-residents may register March 10 if space permits. Sign up online using your CommunityPass account or use the form for in-person or mail-in registration. See the Spring Brochure for information.

Summer Recreation Update
For the summer of 2021, we are offering Outdoor Active
Recreation, a sunshine program for children entering grades 1 - 8. The
program will be held in Oakhurst Park, Mondays - Thursdays, with a rain
makeup day if needed.

Community Hope Fund Grants For Youth Development
The Community Hope Fund will provide small grants to support nonprofit organizations and programs that promote youth development. See the grant application for details.
Covid-19 Policies for Township Parks & Facilities, Recreation Programs and Counseling

Transportation for residents age 60 and older will resume on June 1 on a limited basis. Only one rider will be permitted in the van, and face masks are required. Click here for more information.
In-Person and Telehealth Counseling for Ocean Residents
Township of Ocean Department of Human Services is offering telehealth counseling services for Ocean Township residents in addition to in-person office visits. Licensed counselors will provide individual, couples and family counseling.

4:30 pm to schedule an appointment.
Township of Ocean Parks & Tennis Courts are open. Enjoy the parks responsibly and safely. Practice social distancing and wear a mask.
What you should know:

- Bicycles are allowed on JPP trails – please yield to walkers and runners

William F. Larkin Golf Course at Colonial Terrace is open for the 2020 season. Tee times must be reserved online or by calling the clubhouse. Check ColonialTerraceGolf.com for details and updated procedures.
Have you seen these structures in Joe Palaia Park? They are the latest addition to the many recreation activities in the Township of Ocean. Disc Golf is one of the fastest growing sports in in the country. It's fun for all ages, easy to learn and free to play! Disc sets may be borrowed from the Recreation Office. Please present your ID when borrowing discs.
See the Parks & Outdoor Facilities page for information about Disc Golf. Please note: Joe Palaia Park is a multi-use recreation area enjoyed by walkers, cyclists and runners. Players must yield to other park patrons.
